Julia Perkovich
Dedicated Mediation Attorney
With over 15 years of mediation experience, Julia Perkovich is deeply committed to helping families resolve their divorce outside of court. Since shifting her focus exclusively to non-litigated family law in 2017, Julia has successfully resolved over 90% of her mediation cases—guiding clients through one of life’s most difficult transitions with clarity, compassion, and skill. Her approach is holistic, addressing not just legal concerns, but also the financial and emotional needs of each family. Because she does not handle litigated cases, Julia is able to dedicate her full attention to creating a supportive, structured, and customized mediation process that empowers clients to reach lasting, respectful agreements. For Julia, it is profoundly rewarding to offer mediation as a thoughtful and effective alternative to adversarial litigation.
Julia completed the Mediation Intensive Training Program taught by the Center for Understanding in Conflict and the Basic Interdisciplinary Collaborative Training. Julia continues to develop her interest and skills related to alternative dispute resolution by completing the Advance Mediation Training offered by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Julia previously served as the Vice President for the Sacramento Collaborative Divorce Group, as well as a delegate for Collaborative Divorce California.
Julia graduated the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2009, and passed the California bar that same year. She was also admitted to practice law in California and the Federal courts in 2009.
Prior to that, Julia graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Art History. While at UCI, Julia was awarded membership into Phi Beta Kappa honor society for her scholastic and leadership achievements. Julia volunteered her time as community mediator and a small claims court mediator throughout college.
